Have lived in the area for years and Slurp n Burp has always been my favorite spot for breakfast. Good food, good service, bottomless coffee and fabulous location with outdoor patio overlooking lake. Technically a greasy spoon but they don't get any better than this. Largely a secret of the locals.

Theyre the most polite people and man do they make fantastic pizza, poutine and garlic bread. Id really love to give them a 5 star but my only complaint is the price and even though it might be steep you really do get what you pay for.Also recommend they go with loaf bread for the garlic bread the slices are great but I feel that the given 8 might be a tad slim and even if they have to up the price a tad for a loaf I guess thats fine as well. Love the place recommend it over Bills Pizza House.

I love the atmosphere. It is a typical sports bar but that's what is fun about it. The patio is great, and when there is a big sporting event going on.. Champs is the place to go. I will definitely go back.

We had a huge group visit, and the food was served very fast.
I got a heaping portion of salad because I substituted it for my fries. So pleased :).
The waitresses were very accomodating to the large number.

Went there with 2 friends, the host at the front door was great, smile held the door, sat us withen 4 min there was a small wait but it was dinner time. Some big over weight lady was kinda rude to the server tho, people that are in a bad mood should stay home, stop trying to dump on others. Go on a diet. Eastsides you guys rock!! you care and it shows.

Had not read reviews for this location. Stopped in on a whim and it was very good service and food was above average. Restaurant had just us and another single customer, who was happy with service also. Server explained that previous staff were a disaster. Got rid of them because they were cause of bad reviews! Prices were great (comparatively speaking) and we would go back.

I'm not sure what restaurantica12 problem is with this restaurant. Me and my husband comes here about once a month and it's fantastic, except simetimes when he gets the full rack of ribs one of them isn't the greatest. And honestly it's the best meal for your buck. Will recommended it to anybody who isn't fussy on where they eat just what they eat. Good home cooked meals. Yummy yummy!

Love this place. Fish and Chips the specialty and they are great. But try the pan fried pickerel, oh my! Other menu items good too. We almost always go back to the pickerel.
Staff are fun, rather than formal. If Ken is there, he tries to take a minute to say hello, old or new customers.

We've been to many 5 star restaurants in downtown Toronto and we would take the Log Cabin over any of them. The chef is a master of Soups and presentation. The specials were varied and tasted exceptionally good . The unique atmosphere of the restaurant is extremely comfortable with classy decor that suits the environment. Change did Mom's good. Not sure who the new owners are, but we only went back because we heard the old ones were gone. The biggest difference, these people care, my breakfast was fast, hot, and very good. I went to college up the road, and after being treated poorly repeatedly by the previous owners, I said I would never go back. Well, am I ever glad I did. This is my new favorite breakfast spot in Barrie. Love it. Great job Mom's!!!!
