I had an excellent experience with the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto. The staff member who assisted me through email was especially helpful, professional, and clear throughout the entire process. I’m very grateful for the guidance I received, which allowed me to fly to Toronto and complete my Report of Birth and Passport processing smoothly in one day compared to the Philippines, where the requirements and processing time would take up to four years.

Staff is outstanding! My father received the help he needed for his SSS renewals annually. My brother received help for his dual citizenship applications. I received prompt service on the phone regarding Special Power of Attorney notarization. Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and I was surprised that they call you back when I don't get them on the phone the first time! Love the service! Thank You All! Much appreciated!

Unprofessional staff! The staff there act like children and are rude and unprofessional! Even if you follow their instructions to the letter, they will always find something to pick at. The staff there are like children in adult bodies! Whenever you are there, you will always leave angry.

Very outstanding service!!! I went there today, Dec. 11th for documentation at the consular office and for my annual appearance as a SSS pensioner and everything was over in just 40 minutes. Many thanks to the staff and officers.

Can’t say anything bad about renewals of documents

I'm traveling to the philippines with the cremated remains of my late husband next month so I'm making sure all the necessary documents are place before my flight. I checked the consulate's website for information but was still unsure of the requirements so I called the consulate in Toronto for verification. The answer I got was "check our website, it is all there". and the lady on the phone kept putting me on hold so I gave up. I'm still in disbelief with the staff's rudeness...

this is been an issue a long time ago! all pilipino workers here at philippine consulate are very, very,rude! i wonder why they can't do any action for this matter. it's so sad that pilipino workers there are being rude and annoying with pilipino people here in canada! paging.... do some action or remedy for this matter! Thanks!

Makes me wonder how the staff on this place obtained their jobs. They want you inform them if you cannot attend your scheduled oath taking for the Citizenship Re-acquisition but no one pick up the phone. Yes, you can leave messages and good luck if someone will actually return it, but they have the guts to charge $13 to reschedule your appointment, which they never mention at all until you call them to rechedule. I want their job.

I wouldn't even rate this business a star! On this day May 2nd 2017, the guy at window 1 was so rude! I was explaining to him what my situation is. He didn't even let me finish what I'm going to say! He just said that he doesn't need my explanation and i have to go because there's alot of people waiting in line!

The woman who worked on July 13, 2015 at "Documents Pick-up" booth is totally inefficient, arrogant and unprofessional. I waited in line for almost an hour to pick up a passport for a relative: I was told to submit a photocopy of my drivers licence, despite the fact, that I was only picking up "in behalf" of a relative.
