We had a reservation, and although they had a party going on in the private room the service was fine. They warned us they were really busy but I didn't find it slow. They had a great variety of stuff for the kids, but also for those of us who tend to stay away from carbs.
I had the liver with extra veggies instead of potato and it was really good....it was two large pieces and I took one home. The kids loved the fish and chips and pasta, and my husband had a pasta as well, which he really enjoyed.
This would be a great place to go after a day of skiing when you are REALLY hungry as the portions are very generous!

I hired Men With Knives for my Muskoka wedding this past summer. They went above and beyond expectations and blew everyone away with their impeccable service, delicious food and efficiency. They even slipped my favorite dish into the menu and had a special plate for me as the bride - it is these little special touches that make the difference. I have used Frantastic Events on numerous occasions for my kids birthdays as Fran's cakes are amazing and totally nut free and gluten free if you need it. I also hired Fran to do my wife's 30th birthday party in terms of catering and the food was absolutely amazing and every guest commented on the quality of the food and the value for money was also top drawer! I would recommend Frantastic Events for any catering or birthday need!
