The chalkboard outside advertising $4 wings brought me in to the pub, but the atmosphere will bring me back. Not only did the bartendar seem to know everyone who walked through the door, but she pleasantly chatted with me like we'd met before. Although they were out of stock on a few beers, the wings were cheap, fast and good. Sounds cheesy, but it reminded me a little of cheers!
Myself and other members of our slo-pitch team come here after every single game and we have a great time. The food is good and the service is great. Even though there's only 1 or 2 servers working, they do a great job each and every time we're there. Jamie, who's been our server mostly every time we've gone, has done a great job looking after us. She's a hard worker, always checking in with us that we're all satisfied with everything we've ordered and brings our orders quickly and promptly. As well, she's very friendly making it enjoyable to go back each and every time. We appreciate Jamie for being a great server to us. Overall Molly's is a great atmosphere and I will definately keep going back.
bar was pretty empty, but it was afterall a sunday day. The service was great the atmosphere was nice, music wasn't too loud. It was nice and refreshing as outside was blazing hot. The air was cool but not too cold, and the beer was delicious. Would definately come again next time I am in Guelph.
I hadn't been to Molly's since I finished University, and decided to drop in since I was in town. The band that was playing was funky and the three girls who were working were friendly and fast. The bar was out of more than half their draught beer, so I had to settle for something rather than have my choice. In other words the atmosphere and staff were as I remembered, but it's sad to see a once popular place being run so poorly.
I didn't stay and have anything because the bar was out of my first five choices for drinks. The band sounded good, the doorman and bartendar were pleasant enough...but I go to the bar for booze! Don't be fooled by all the taps on the bar...they've all run dry!
